GENERAL

A single charge can last anywhere between 6 and 25 miles depending on usage. Use of 2WD vs 4WD along with the three different levels of power will dictate the battery life. To maximize battery life and run time, we recommend operating in 2WD and low power until it is need to switch. Even in 2WD and low power, the Spyder will perform very well in most situations.

The included battery is a 60V/50ah lithium ion. From dead it will take about 10 hours to charge. The included charger has an auto-shutoff to prevent overcharging. Standard 110v outlet is required for charging.

The Spyder and Spyder XP can climb 15-20 degree grades with 4WD engaged.

The warranty is one year on electrical components. Internal parts have water tag markers and if compromised will void the warranty for that part. Also corrosive and neglected parts will not be covered.

Spyder’s should be stored out of the elements. That includes extreme cold temperatures for long periods of time as well as long periods in direct sunlight and high temperature days. The Spyder’s battery relies solely on recharging to get it’s power restored.
